This article covers the following topics:
What's changed?
Bypass mandatory phone numbers
Currently, the system only allows making the phone number field either mandatory or optional. If a client visits a location without a phone number, intake users must enter a dummy phone number as the field is set to Mandatory at the network level.
In order to bypass the need to input a mandatory phone number, we're adding a setting called Bypass Mandatory Phone Number. This setting will add a checkbox labeled “No phone number” below the phone number field. Selecting this checkbox will allow you to bypass the mandatory inputting requirement for the phone number.
Address lookup in Canada
Currently, we are using the open maps API to get location information for address lookups (e.g., for the address auto-complete feature).
The open maps API doesn’t let us retrieve addresses for selected locations in Canada. We have put in place the option to enable USPS address API, which allows users to retrieve addresses from a different database. If the existing address lookup system is not working for your area, this switch can be requested through a Support ticket by a Network Administrator.
