Managing Consent for Personal Information Recording
The "Consent to Having Personal Information Recorded" setting can be managed at both the agency and network levels:
- Agency Level: The client must provide consent at each agency they visit.
- Network Level: The client only needs to give consent once, and it applies to all agencies within the network.
Important: When confirming a client's consent in the Personal Tab, ensure the correct date is recorded, as the system currently does not allow edits to the consent date in this tab.
Watch the following video to see where to find your consent settings within Link2Feed:
If the network sets Consent settings to ON-Optional, it allows Network Administrators to modify consent settings at the agency level. However, Agency Managers and Network Managers will not have access to these options.
Here’s how it works:
-
Default Network Settings: Agencies that do not modify their settings will follow the network’s consent settings. Clients won’t need to re-sign consent unless the network changes its settings.
-
Agency-Specific Consent: Agencies that adjust their settings will require clients to sign an agency-specific consent, instead of the network consent.
-
Multiple Consents for Clients: If a client visits multiple agencies, they may need to sign different consents:
- Agency-specific consent for agencies with customized settings.
- General network consent (signed once) for agencies using the default network settings.
We also offer Consent to Contact settings, information on these settings is available here.

- Sign on Screen: Click Open Signature Canvas to allow the client to sign directly on the screen of the device.
- ScripTel Signature Pad: Capture the client’s signature using a ScripTel device.
- Pre-typed Signature: The system will automatically populate the client’s name into the Client Signature field.
- Verbal Consent: The client verbally confirms their consent, and clicking Save Changes will log this as verbal consent.
-
By using these consent tracking options, you ensure that all client consent is properly documented based on the method chosen.
